Treatment & Rehabilitation Services

Dr. Veluri evaluates a client to diagnose and formulate a Treatment and Rehabilitation Plan. OCF forms will be filled out to facilitate these services. Dr. Veluri also provides psychiatric management of clients for third parties such as insurance companies and employers.

Dr. Veluri's goal is to expedite the treatment and rehabilitation plans to get the client better quicker and to get him/her back to work earlier, for the benefit of everyone.

Similar services are also provided in Occupational and Organization Psychiatry in an effort to understand the workplace problems, interpersonal issues, difficulties between workers and managers. etc. These endeavours lead to improved efficiency and productivity in companies and organizations.

Seeing Patients/Clients on TeleNetwork

» Dr. Veluri has a Telemedicine Studio for evaluation and treatment of clients and patients in his office. This system is not an internet based connection but uses a high definition television situated in Dr. Veluri's office which connects via secure connection through the Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN) to a pre-arranged site where the client/patient is situated. This connection has full security features to achieve a high level of privacy.

» OTN saves expenditures by avoiding the need for travel either by the client/patient or the physician and allows access to even the most remote communities in Northern Ontario and the rest of Canada.

» Has been performing Independent Medical Examinations in Psychiatry since 1997. This service has been provided to various insurance companies, Canada Pension Plan and many other corporations.

» Has been providing Corporate Consultations to large corporations.

» Was a member of the Disability Assessment Centre Team in Sudbury.

»Provided Catastrophic Independent Medical Evaluations in Psychiatry for many years.

» Is a Board Member of the Canadian Society of Medical Evaluators.

» Provides Psychiatric Evaluations to the legal community and has given evidence as an expert witness in psychiatry in the courtroom.

» Regularly participates in educational seminars conducted by legal and medical organizations.

» Has lectured to physicians and other clinicians in the fields of psychotherapy and psychopharmacology.
